Our Annual Thanksgiving Appeal
Each year, JMOGD extends its generosity to the kosher home residents of Angel View by gifting them during their Thanksgiving celebration. Your contribution of $18.00 or more can make their holiday truly special.
Over two decades ago, Angel View responded to a call from parents seeking a respectful and culturally sensitive home for their Orthodox Jewish children with intellectual disabilities. This collaboration has blossomed into a beautiful partnership that continues to thrive today.
At Desert Hot Springs, Angel View houses two ICF/ID-H Kosher homes: Joel’s House and Friedman House. These aren’t just long-term care facilities; they’re real homes where 12 adults with intellectual disabilities can thrive. These homes exude warmth and care, featuring fully equipped Kosher kitchens. Every effort is made to honor Jewish holidays and integrate our residents’ faith and traditions into their daily lives.
